Finally same-sex marriage became legal in December 2017 which means that regardless of gender you are now able to marry legally. I also understand that not everyone will want a legal ceremony but want to have a ceremony to celebrate their relationship. For some people they will choose to have a commitment ceremony which they will share with family and friends.
